Top is my late grandmothers little summerhouse in the garden of her house that gets new owners tomorrow. It was always a bit exciting to have fika there when I was little.
I made a patchwork cushion for a kitchen chair, should make another one really.

little books

Time goes fast in the summer. So much to do...painting windows, mowing lawns, cycling, barbecuing...
Found these little books in the shelves. I bought them in a fleamarket in India. They are educational books for children with sweet illustrations.
The one with the colors and letters reminds me a bit of of Hilma af Klints work.

Sundays trip to the beach. Strawberries, this years first swim(dip), soft white sand (good for digging, pic 2).

I bought this silly old mug in a flea a while back. I like the typeface and color, and the sillyness.

He turned one last week, crazy how much can happen in a year. We gave him the world as a present. The little shirt I got from my grandparents when I was his age, I love the print that was made in a daycenter for handicapped people.

summer

A week flew by and summer is truly here. Long, long nights, bare feet, flowers in the garden and LIGHT.
